I have finally finished the 17 Monochramatic Christmas Kit there are 105 papers and 578 embellishments total, EVERY kits has at LEAST 29 embellies and every kit has 6 papers (they were supposed to be mini's)

I am working on previews so they will be done before next week.
and I will be having my grand re-opening at Pretty Scrappy later this month, I was planning on having it this weekend but due to my injury I am not ready-although I am off crutches, out of the splint so Im doing much better!

Ok So I sooo would have had these links up earlier but the other day comming down the stairs I tripped and fell the last couple and landed on my left ankle...it snapped, so I had to go to the ER and I spent the following 6 hours there...1 hour waiting to get out of the lobby, 1 hour to see someone, 1 hour to get an x-ray, another 1 1/2 to get results, 1 more hour to get bandaged, splinted, and crutches....oh and since I didnt feel comfortable driving Adam came to the hospital straight from wor--oh but theres more, on the highway comming to get me he ran outta gas, like 100ft from the exit, so his brother had to come pick him up-thankfully I had my car at the hospital and he took me home, got the kids from his parents house, got them home and showered and into bed and then went and got his car. So yeah a week from Christmas, raining and icy and I am on FREAKING CRUTCHES...not to mention this is my first experience with crutches, and you want to know the freaking kicker? When I was comming down the stairs I was getting ready to finish up my christmas shopping.....so If I was telling a story for a free kit I would soooo get it! unfortunitly Im the one giving stuff away(not unfortunitly--cause I LOVE giving stuff away to fun deserving un-rude people! lol)

November Scrap-A-Ganza----it is completed and ready to go I will be giving you a one lump download next week, or maybe the end of this week we'll see. lol

What am I working on now?

An awesome series of kits. I was inspired by the Sunshine Studios Designer Contest Round 3 I think? They had to make a monochramatic kit. (Using only one color, different shades of the same color)

So I decided To do a mini series, I have 21 Colors and each kit will be a color, it will have 6 papers and anywhere from around 10-20 embellies, and they are all christmas themed, not one single kit will be like another, EVERY single paper will be different, and I will have a combo where you can pick 2 colors for a certin price or 3 colors for a special price, not everyone uses traditional colors for their decorations, last year my tree was chocolate, teal, purple with hints of gold. So woul will end up having a tailored color combination choosen by you!

Ok so it didnt work and my computer crashed. It has been in complete compaq system recovery for 4-5 days and I just dont know if it will work. I am probably going to have to buy a whole new computer.

So run dont walk to my stores and buy some kits!! That way I can earn some money to buy a new computer! LOL

hey I am probably going to be off the computer for a day or two--I think my computer is infected with a spyware, these ads wont stop popping up and it disabled my task manager, and reset my homepages and desktop to this ad to buy this one spyware, so I am going to have to wipe my hardrive down and i dont know how long it will take.

I promise once I get this squared away on my computer I will make it up, July will probably be late.

Last Day of Birthday Blitz and Update

Ok so next months kit may be a little late, I have over 4 pages of sketches scanned in and I havent even started coloring them yet. BUT all the papers are done, well almost, lol. I LOVE these colors!

ANYWHO I FINALLY HEARD FROM BRITTNEY!!!!

She is alive and well kinda at a loss, STILL no internet, and worst of all she thinks she may have to move back to Oklahoma. I kinda yelled at her for being out of contact for so long, I was worried sick that something happened to her.

She said she has been designing, and has a few new kits done already (she just cant uplaod them yet)

Man this month has just been crazy. I got asked to make a fan blinkie for an awesome upcomming store as well as Headers, Category Graphics, background....etc the store? My newest store PrettyScrappy.Com! I am so happy that Casey (the owner and friend) loves it! Infact the blog and store are already wearing my designs! Not to mention I had the June SAG kit to make, 3 other Collab kits not to mention I am STILL not finished with next months SAG kit (FYI SAG=Scrap-A-Ganza).

And throughout all this craziness (not to mention the crazy things at home) my faithful readers who come to my blog and always leave a comment have shone a BRIGHT Light in a World of Crazy Darkness.

Thank You to all of you and you know who you are!

I will be trying to contact you with a special gift. It may take me awhile but I will get you!

I can always count on you to leave a kind word for the Large FREE Kits I give away EVERY month.

It is a little sad out of the hundreds of downloads--and on a few thousands, only a tiny tiny few can say thank you. You have the time to hunt for freebies but you can't say even TY for all our hard work?

It makes us Designers wonder why we even give away freebies-especially freebies the size I give out. Yes it is part of a kit and I do sell the add-on in my store but what I give away here is more than enough to make a few pages with-heck some could even make a whole book.

I made a promise however that I would continue to give away monthly themed kits for a year--untill FEB of next year.

I used a sheet of stickers that are words/phrases and cut out a large bracket shape, and I used the scraps left over to cover the 2 Chipboard letters. Not only did I ink the tan bracket shae I cut out, but also the sanded areas of both pictures.

The journailing reads as follows: Everytime I look at these pictures I am stunned, not by the quality, or how beautiful you both are; but at the fact that you both, on the same day let me take a pictures of you!

Ok on to my new LOs, now I know some of you are thinking...I thought she had twins...a girl and a BOY....yet she keeps posting LOs of the girl, no I do not love her more I just haven't gotten any boy kits yet, dont worry though Next week, I promise you will see Nicholas!This was at the St. Louis Zoo (we love it there and practically live there throughout the summer!) The pictures above were so funny, the guy that watched over everything had never, I mean NEVER heard the Guinnea Pigs squeal before (and he was a older man) and one touch from Victoria and there they were filling the room with their high-pitched, ear-shattering squeals, so of course Victoria had to mimick......dang you Guinnea Pigs for teaching her that squeal!

You will probably see me scrap this picture a million times, When they took the twins from me (at 36 weeks to the day) there was something wrong with Victoria, they rushed her out, and I didnt get to see here for 7-8 hours and only then, when I finally was able to see her, she was in a...I dont know what it was, it was some kind of box to control her breathing and all thhe wires to transport her to Cardinal Glennon (in STL 30 miles away), I never got to hold her, I didnt even get to see her again untill I was out of the hospital, and I didnt get to bring her home untill 2 weeks later...This is the first picture of her, this was by my side untill I got to have her home.

It has been brought to my attention that in the zips the previews have been very large and that is why the zips take so long....To the person who told me THANK YOU!!! I did not realize it and I am goin t ffix it today so your next links will be smaller! I am so sorry I hate when I recieve someones kits and things arent labeld correctly or too big...and I did it!

I will fix it and if you want to free a little space go ahead and deleate the previews you have for Puddle Jumper just make sure you get teh next download for smaller previews!

These were taken last summer, every year there is a town homecomming parade (i never knew towns did that except for highschool homecomming), hosted by the town firemen, in which there is a theme and you get to make your own little float with your kids and you go in the parade and give out candy, and afterwords there are food stands and games, rides and music. Last years theme was 'What I want to be when I grow up' so we did Victoria as a princess in a burning castle,a nd Nicholas was a fireman in a little firetruck putting the fire out! (Naturally Nicholas had to be a fireman since its the firemans parade, at the fireman's park, and his grandpa is a fireman)

I have been posting the freebie links (well kinda lol) but thats about it, no chit chat nothing, sorry I have been very busy, I made two collab kits for SSD--which I always seem to go overboard with, A large portion for a suprse collab kit which youll find out about closer to june, almost finished with May's Freebie kit, my CT call kit, and I am in the middle of working on 2 kits to sell, not to mention all the doodles and drawings Ive been doing for the next 14-17 theme kits ill do, Oh and I am now on Digital Arts Cafe CT, So youll be seeing some of the LO ive made on here...Sorry if you came here just for freebies--I mean dont worry you will still be getting tons of freebies. a few answers to questions

1.) no i am not exclusive
2.) the pricing of custom previews would vary for each request, depending on how many things you would like- boxes, shelves, element cards, jars, ribbon spools, if you just want a special way to display ribbon then it would be less then if you wanted a whole complete set, also it would depend if you wanted the set to make a preview for one kit or and unlimited amount of kits. If you use them commercially for unlimited amount of previews I was thinking of each custom piece being around $5-10 depends on the type if you want your logo on the jars, cards, etc.
I am VERY flexible and if you decided you would like me to make a custom preview for you we can talk it over and discuss pricing-if something seems a little too much we can discuss it and see what would be a fair price. here in the next week I will have a 'catalog' of the basic templates of preview pieces and also a styles chart, so if you think you may be interested check back in a week and if you still like what you see email me and we can talk about what you want and everything!
3.) if you are looking for a specific theme kit or certain colors let me know--you never know i might have a few pages of sketches ready to go to make a kit! i have about 3 sketch books full of sketches doodles and things for kits that i havent started on so if you are looking for something specific let me know!
4.) Ive had a few people ask me if I will be seeling my doodles and drawings for commerciall use, as brushes or png images....I dunno is there a demand for them? would you use them? hmmm Im just now sure if I have people telling me yes they would love to use them to make their own designs then I may just have to sa what the heck! lol

please if you ever have a question idea or what not just ask! i will do my best to answer and help with anything i can!

after a horrid 14 1/2 hour drive through the night (i left ok around 11pm got home around 130 the next afternoon) Im beat! LOL. I just wanted to thank veryone who left a kind word, it was very difficult, I was very close to my Mamaw and I even lived with her after I graduated High School, but Im glad she went in her sleep instead of hanging on and going through all the pain that was infront of her (she had Multiple Myeloma which is cancer its like luekemia but it attacks the bone marrow) so im just glad she isnt suffering anymore. SO again THANK YOU for all your kind messages!

Ok I just got back from OK it is 1217am on wednessday and i am sooooo tired being in the car for 11 hours with 21 month old twins---anyways

I've had some people telling me they love the way I display my kits for previews, Ive been throwing the idea around of custom previews for designers who havent found the preview they love. I made brittney's new previews and if you are interested let me know and I will throw so examples together-- currently i have 2-3 ways to display ribbon 2-3 ways for embeliishments 2 for paper and a couple different boxes/shelves-chests to hold everything. so let me know if you think you would be interested and after i get back next week we can discuss wht ideas youhave and what i can do!
